That; easily found in nature and effective to fire; excluding (B), (D), (E), water can be used in all fires and cooling systems as an extinguishing agent. Under the title of Water Extinguishing Systems, fire pumps, environmental hydrant system, fire cabinets, sprinklers, cooling applications and watermist extinguishing systems are designed and applied according to national and international standards.
The purpose of the sprinkler system; It is the discharge of the determined amount of water on the design area within a certain period of time to ensure early response to the fire and to control and extinguish the fire. The sprinkler system can also activate various emergency functions, such as alarming the occupants and calling the fire brigade. Sprinkler system; It consists of elements such as sprinkler heads, pipes, fittings and hangers, installation control valves, alarm bells, flow indicators, water pumps and emergency power supply. Sprinkler system elements must comply with TS EN 12259.
In all buildings except the residence with a height of more than 30.50 m, in residences exceeding 51.50 m in height, in indoor parking lots with a total area of more than 600 m2 and in closed parking lots where more than 10 vehicles are taken by elevator, In hotels, dormitories, hostels, guesthouses and all-bed facilities with a height of more than 21.50 m in rooms with more than 100 rooms or 200 beds, shopping, commercial and entertainment places with a total area of over 2000 m2, It is compulsory to establish an automatic sprinkler system in buildings with a total area of more than 1000 m2, where easily flammable and flammable materials are produced or maintained.
Sprinkler system may not be installed in wet areas that do not contain flammable materials and do not store flammable materials, fire ladder slots that are separated by fire-resistant building elements that do not contain flammable materials, elevator wells and spaces protected by gaseous, dry powder, water spray and other automatic extinguishing systems. Sprinklers are not installed in areas where substances that expand or react with water can cause fire to grow.
In the first and second seismic zones, earthquake sling, silatation and flexible coupling applications must be made against seismic movements.
The design of water extinguishing systems is based on the Buildings Fire Protection Regulation (BYKH). We provide system solutions according to EN (European Norms) and NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) Fire Standards and Codes.
According to usage area and design standard; upright sprinkler, pendent sprinkler, concealed sprinkler, sidewall sprinkler, Early Suppression Fast Response (ESFR) sprinkler, extened coverage large drop (ELO) sprinkler, dry type sprinkler, foam-water sprinkler, window type sprinkler, cooling nozzles, … etc.
UL listed and FM approved sprinkler heads used in water extinguishing systems.
